In addition to my work with internet-related technology, I am a partner
in an Asian-style tea shop in Berkeley. The mission is better living through
tea.
Essentially a good green vegetable, tea is best consumed as plenty of
warm fluids. Drinking lots of tea per day will over time refresh the mind,
body, and spirit. Antioxidants keep good cells from breaking down; hot
water is like motor oil for the body; and time spent waiting for the water
to boil, the tea to infuse, the cups to be poured, and the savoring to
occur enforces stress reducing excercises such as, say, breathing well
50 times.
So, if you're intrigued, you may want to look at some basic
instructions for making tea. Otherwise, do stop by the shop in
Berkeley if you get a chance, and if you ever find yourself buying tea
online, I hope you go to www.FarLeaves.com. |
